Photizo Group Launches Preferred Consulting Partner Program

Press release from the issuing company

Photizo Group announces its new Preferred Consulting Partner program to extend the reach of Photizo managed print services research into more markets. This exclusive program is being offered to a select group of consulting professionals who bring unique value to the market, such as their subject matter expertise or geographic coverage. Two respected print industry consultants, Dr. David Cameron and Mitchell Filby, are already engaged as members.

Consultants accepted as Preferred Consulting Partners (PCP) benefit from access to Photizo Group as their preferred partner for primary research and data for consulting projects. The partners also make their specialized experience available to the Photizo Group in support of certain Photizo clients.

"We are expanding our reach by partnering with a very select set of independent consultants with whom we have a high degree of confidence and experience. The new program allows these consultants to leverage Photizo Group research and insights, while Photizo utilizes these independent consultants to support expanded client demand and to bring unique expertise to the table," said Photizo Group CEO, Ed Crowley.

Dr. David Cameron and Cameron Consulting Group

David B. Cameron, PhD, president of Cameron Consulting Group, is one of the first participants in the PCP program. "I am excited and pleased to continue my long relationship with Photizo through this partnership. I look forward to a great working relationship ad a win-win for the MPS community. Consultants like myself gain access to great data and experienced resources to apply to a client's specific need for market research and strategic analysis," said Cameron.

Cameron has over 20 years of experience in the hardcopy industry. His background includes:

- Managing after-sales support, engineering and business director leadership positions at Texas Instruments, IBM Global Services and Dell.

- As Director of Product Development for the startup Imaging Systems business at Dell, Cameraon helped grow the enterprise into a $1 billion business, with some of the fastest growth in the industry.

- While at IBM, Cameron was involved with managed development consulting.

- Dr. Cameron also teaches Management courses at Texas State University.

- Prior to launching Cameron Consulting, Cameron worked with Photizo Group since 2009 as senior consultant and partner.

Mitchell Filby and First Rock Consulting

The second consultant to join the new MPS-focused program is Mitchell Filby, Managing Director of First Rock Consulting Pty. Ltd. Filby started First Rock in 2009 as an independent, consultative business focused on managed print services and business Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) infrastructure.

"First Rock Consulting sees the launch of the Preferred Partner Consulting program as both a fantastic and exciting opportunity to extend and leverage the immense research, knowledge and insight that the Photizo Group brings to the MPS industry, as well as its interrelated markets as a whole. More important is the opportunity to enhance the Photizo program through a calibrated market focus. We think the timing of such a strong program with be welcomed in the region, especially as the MPS Asia Pacific conference will be held in Sydney, Australia in November," Filby said.

During his twenty-plus years in ICT, Mitchell served as General Manager and other management roles in the Production Printing Systems division for Canon Australia. He was General Manager for Smart Communications, an Australian ASX-listed ICT organization. Filby has experience in other markets such as:

- Wireless communications

- Enterprise content management

- Document management
