Sigler Companies increase capacity with GMC Software Technology

Press release from the issuing company

Boston, Massachusetts and Appenzell, Switzerland - GMC Software Technology, the standard in customer communications, today announced that Sigler Companies has streamlined and dramatically increased production capabilities of personalized communications with GMC's Customer Communication Management (CCM) solution. The solution will allow Sigler to produce and deliver personalized communications exactly when and where customers need them. In addition, they expect to process over 1.5 million personalized communications in minutes and also expand their portfolio of service offerings.

Sigler Companies was founded in 1958. In its 53-year history, the company has continued to expand its capabilities and offers clients comprehensive marketing communication solutions made up of creative services, printing and promotional products. Today, Sigler Companies is a family of businesses with divisions in marketing, public relations, creative services, printing, and branded apparel and merchandise. The divisions include Innova Ideas & Services, a creative services agency; Sigler Printing, a premier printing and production house; and Signify Apparel & Merchandise, a branded apparel and merchandise business.

"Our investment in GMC Software Technology represents a significant increase in our production capabilities," said Jeff Oleson, Business Solutions Analyst for Sigler Companies. "From a capacity standpoint, GMC magnifies our output exponentially through the use of state-of-the-art in-house variable data technology. With GMC we can grow at our pace adding capabilities for automation, web-based controls, storefronts and more to help us expand."

GMC Software Technology will enable Sigler to create highly personalized customer communications for their nationwide roster of clients that contain sequenced and non-sequenced data, Universal Product Codes (UPC), Quick Response (QR) codes and other variable data elements based on database identifiers. In addition, Sigler can also expand their multi-channel and integrated marketing campaign capabilities to include print, electronic and mobile marketing.

"We selected GMC Software Technology because it allows us to integrate TransPromo and multi-channel customer communications," said Beth Cross, President of Sigler Companies. "As it stands, companies wanting to design and print a direct mail piece with variable barcodes and other non-text information all in one press run, may have to work with multiple vendors to get it produced. GMC allows us to generate, manage and print large, multi-part variable data runs in a single stream."
