Finch Paper appoints new managers to digital sales and marketing team

Glens Falls, NY - Finch Paper is pleased to announce that Connie Sukeforth Harrison and Mary K. Schilling have joined the sales and marketing team as Digital Business Development Manager and Digital Applications Manager, respectively. Both Harrison and Schilling report to Sheldon Spicer, Sales Director for Digital and Corporate Accounts.

Connie Harrison

Connie Harrison has been appointed to the newly created position of Manager, Digital Business Development. She will specialize in Finch Digital Papers (engineered for inkjet, toner, and HP Indigo), targeting specific value-add print applications across market segments with a focus on customer intimacy and fit.  

Harrison has over 30 years of progressive experience in paper research and product development, and over 15 years of experience in electronic printing and inkjet paper development for commercial and SOHO markets. She comes to Finch most recently from SAPPI Fine Paper, where she held the position of Project Leader/Customer Innovation Engineer. There, she directed a team in the development and commercialization of digital coated papers.

Mary Schilling

Mary Schilling joins the Finch Paper team as Digital Applications Manager, where she will liaise with equipment manufacturers and provide technical support for customers. Prior to this appointment, Schilling owned a consulting company called Schilling Graphic Consulting. There, she advised industry leaders in the digital fluid, materials, mechanics, software, and machine development fields regarding coordination and analysis of print quality development. She additionally trained and produced printed output for OEMs and users of graphic arts software.

Schilling previously held the positions of New Business Manager for Tension Packaging; and Manager, Design/Digital Technology Development for Inland Paperboard & Packaging – both in Indianapolis. Schilling has won "Innovator of the Year" awards as Patent Inventor of PackageGenie technology, and is active in continuing education in safety, leadership and team building initiatives.
