Livonia, Mich. - Valassis, one of the nation's leading media and marketing services companies,announced today it has been named to Diversity Employers magazine's Top 100 Employers for Class of 2011 list. Formerly The Black Collegian, the publication conducts an annual survey of major employers to determine the most active recruiters of college graduates. This year, Valassis ranked No. 81 on this prestigious list. Valassis also was named to this list in 2010, 2009 and 2003.

Valassis' ranking is based upon projected entry-level hires, campus recruitment activity and the majors the company is recruiting. In the Top 100 Employers for Class of 2011 List and Majors in Demand, an annual survey by IMDiversity, Inc. to determine the most active recruiters of college seniors for entry-level jobs, more than 120 employers projected making more than 8,432 campus recruitment visits and some 87,221 hires this year.
