Seidl's Bindery Upgrades Foil Stamping and Embossing Capabilities

Press release from the issuing company

Houston, TX - Seidl's Bindery, a full-service binding and finishing solutions provider serving printers across America, announced today it has expanded its foil stamping and embossing capabilities with the addition of a Kluge small format press. Designed to handle a wide range of small format finishing work, the Kluge establishes Seidl's as a complete foil stamping and embossing solutions provider.

The new press allows Seidl's to offer foil stamping and embossing solutions for small format projects from 14" x 22" down to 2.5" x 3.5" in addition to half- and full-size work. The Kluge's state-of-the-art web-flow press system enables high-speed production of small format work containing specialty forms, unusual stocks and tight registration requirements. Multi level sculptured embossing, hologram registration and combo one pass foil stamping/embossing are also possible.

Seidl's foil stamping and embossing department is comprised of the Kluge along with two 40" full-size foil stamping and embossing presses. Seidl's offers a variety of foil choices, including a wide range of metallics and matte colors, as well as other effects such as holographics, clears, tints, smokes and special effect finishes (e.g. watercolors, wood grains, and neons), all of which printers can use to create elegant foil stamped and embossed projects. Products that can benefit from Seidl's embossing and foil stamping services include stationery, product packaging and labels, advertising flyers and other collateral materials, pocket folders, handbooks and brochures, annual reports and more.

"The Kluge is a welcome addition to our family of high-quality foil stamping and embossing equipment," said Bill Seidl, President of Seidl's Bindery. "The combined flexibility, high quality and efficient production of our foil stamping and embossing solutions makes Seidl's a highly competitive finishing resource in this area."
