International Paper UK holds Charity Golf Day for Mencap

Press release from the issuing company

Brussels, Belgium – International Paper UK recently organised and sponsored a charity Golf Day in aid of Mencap – "The Voice of Learning Disability", raising £530 in funds for this worthwhile charity.

The Golf Day was held at the Marriott Hollins Hall Golf Club near Bradford, an 18 hole Championship Golf Course set in 200 acres of grounds in West Yorkshire. 31 golfers  participated in the event, which proved to be a resounding success.

Mencap is the leading voice of learning disability. The charity helps thousands of children and adults who suffer from learning disabilities, people who are unfortunately among the most excluded and disadvantaged in our society.

Everything Mencap does is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability and their families and carers.

Mencap provides valuable support through employment; education and community services, promoting equal opportunities which enable many people to achieve the things they want from life.
