Alphagraphics books 50,000th job into Prism WIN MIS in under 40 months

Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Press release from the issuing company

Colchester, UK - In 40 months, AlphaGraphics North East has booked over 50,000 orders in Prism WIN management information system (MIS). AlphaGraphics uses Prism WIN across every area of their business from quoting and jobbing to inventory, shop floor, and accounts. More than 60 AlphaGraphics print professionals have been using Prism WIN since 2007.

“Our large volume of short run jobs could not be profitable with a high cost-of-use and labour-intensive management system,” says Stephen Jones, Commercial Director of AlphaGraphics. “Prism WIN allows us to profitably run a lean business of thousands of short run orders with high automation and limited human touch.”

Using automated wizards and a built-in, sequenced workflow that moves the job along through the business process, Prism WIN has allowed AlphaGraphics to significantly increase their efficiencies compared to their workflow prior to 2007.

“AlphaGraphics is another example of an industry leading printer taking advantage of the automation of Prism WIN,” states Filip Buyse, President and CEO of Prism. “WIN is used around the world to increase efficiencies, automate processes, and lower the administrative costs of managing multi-site quick print operations.”

AlphaGraphics provides its customers with a wide range of design, marketing and print services from designing and printing brochures and business cards to personalized, cross media marketing campaigns.
