PacBlue printing installs ZÜND G3 cutter for maximum productivity

Press release from the issuing company

Vancouver, BC - PacBlue Printing, Vancouver's premier small, large and grand format printing company announced today the installation of a brand new ZÜND G3 2500L Digital Cutter. This equipment addition broadens PacBlue's portfolio of market-leading printing solutions.

"This is truly the most multifunctional system on the market today. Equally suited for cutting, scoring or routing simple shapes or complex contours, the G3 consistently delivers maximum quality", said Jonathan Colley, CEO/President at PacBlue. "The new cutter complements our product portfolio really well. We have already seen a lot of interest from our customers and invite any company looking at digital cutting technology to discuss their requirements with PacBlue as we have the broadest range of high quality digital printing, cutting and finishing products anywhere in Vancouver's lower mainland".

Until now, much of the company's work involved time-consuming and labour intensive manual finishing, but the addition of the ZÜND Cutter will speed up this end of the production process as well as remove the margin for error. Because of PacBlue Printing's ability to work across all sizes and types of material, its cutter needed to reflect the same amount of versatility in operation and be able to work with a variety of thicknesses, lengths and widths.

"Our investment in digital equipment has always been based on getting the best solution to allow us to provide our customers with high quality end products which, usually go beyond conventional thinking", said Mr. Colley. "Our reputation for 'thinking outside the box' means we can often produce a job which others might not perceive as being possible. The addition of the Cutter literally enables us to bring new ideas and products to the table".

In addition to the ZÜND G3 2500L Digital Cutter PacBlue Printing has recently added to its production line the Xerox 1000 Colour Press, the Xerox 700 Digital Colour Press and the Xerox Nuvera 120 EA Production System. This upgrade to PacBlue's printing and finishing capabilities keeps the company up to date with new technology and allows a greater flexibility and better quality.
