Press release from the issuing company

Following their purchase of a ROLAND 700 HiPrint with InlineFoiler Prindor, the Interdruk Corporation in Garwolin, Poland, has now invested in a six-color ROLAND 500 with coating module. Interdruk is a leading producer of paper-based products for schools and offices.

Where do Hannah Montana, Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse especially like to get together? In Poland’s Garwolin which is located southeast of Warsaw, where Interdruk prints notebooks and exercise books under license with these popular figures on the covers. Besides school materials, the product portfolio of this company that was founded in 1991 includes commercial printing such as direct-mail shots, packaging, and publications. On a floor space of 50,000 square meters, Interdruk offers a wide range of services from a DTP studio through prepress, printing and finishing with its own bindery.

Interdruk belongs among Poland’s best printers and invests to differentiate itself in the marketplace. Managing Director Dariusz R?kawek is always looking to offer his customers something special: “That’s why we moved into cold foil enhancement in 2009 and we are now taking a step further with the ROLAND 500.” Why did he decide to order a six-color ROLAND 500 with coating module and UV equipment, which is to be installed in November 2011? “We were convinced by fast job changeover, fast production, and the high quality of UV printing. We recently attended an event in Offenbach, which confirmed our opinion of the press’s performance capabilities.” The ROLAND 500 gets top marks for its productivity, which is boosted by a substrate thickness of up to one millimeter and the special 0B plus format (max. image area 580 x 740 mm). The necessary flexibility is provided by its high degree of automation: automatic sheet size setting; automatic washing systems; automatic air settings; the highly-automated PPL (PowerPlateLoading) plate changing system; and ColorPilot – the fastest color control system on the market. In addition to the automation features, QuickChange speeds up the makeready process. QuickChange Coating simplifies coating changeover, and QuickChange Surface gets the ink fountains cleaned faster. Interdruk is certified in accordance with the ISO 9001:2001 quality management standard and customers gave it the “Best in Poland” award in 2008. Dariusz R?kawek sees this as “a wonderful confirmation of our product quality.”
