EskoArtwork to showcase efficiency-enhancing solutions at PrintEx11

Press release from the issuing company

Ghent, Belgium – EskoArtwork will present its broad range of workflow and pre-production solutions for packaging and print specialists  at PrintEx11.

The company will showcase the Kongsberg i-XL24 digital finishing system, as well as its portfolio of  advanced tools for efficient packaging and label workflow automation, including the latest HD Flexo 2.0. PrintEx11 takes place at Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre from 4 to 6 May 2011.

“EskoArtwork solutions deliver new levels of industrialization and standardization. With our tools, we can help customers to optimize costs and streamline workflows so they can improve quality and consistency, ” comments Peter Henderson, EskoArtwork’s general manager for Oceania. “PrintEx11 is a perfect opportunity for us to showcase the latest developments in our portfolio and how individually or combined they can improve an operation’s performance and profitability.”

Tools for an improved packaging and label workflow

Featured at the event will be Automation Engine 10 workflow server and the latest versions of the highly integrated editor applications: ArtPro 10, PackEdge 10, DeskPack 10, ArtiosCAD 10 and Studio 10. Automation Engine 10 brings improved automation of repetitive tasks and removes more human interaction from the prepress production process. It helps users to avoid unnecessary mistakes, saving them significant time and money.

At the show, EskoArtwork will also provide details on its collaboration with partners offering MIS/ERP systems, providing data handshakes – often JDF – between order entry and business reporting systems and EskoArtwork automation solutions.

Solutions for optimized flexo plate and sleeve production

At PrintEx11, EskoArtwork will also demonstrate its Digital Flexo solutions, comprising the leading range of Cyrel Digital Imagers (CDIs) for flexo plate making and related integrated software products. Visitors will learn more about the HD Flexo technology for the production of plates and sleeves delivering printing quality comparable to offset or gravure, as well as the Inline UV Main Exposure and the Digital Flexo Suite for optimized and automated plate and sleeve production.

Also on show will be a CDI Spark 2530, which is designed for the tag and label market as well as folding carton and small-volume flexo plate producers. The solution images digital flexo plates up to 25” x 30” (635mm x 762mm) and comes with an incorporated plate loading table and an EasyClamp II drum for easier and faster plate loading.

Digital finishing workhorse

The Kongsberg product line of CAM products will be represented by the Kongsberg i-XL 24, the best-selling Kongsberg finishing system among sign and display companies. It offers a comprehensive finishing solution for the widest range of materials, providing automation, high productivity and outstanding precision.
