Neenah Paper Announces Updated Paperworks Contest

ROSWELL, Ga. (January 14, 2004) – Neenah Paper announces updates to its long-running PAPERWORKS Contest. Beginning January 1, 2004, winners in both the Letterhead and Text and Cover categories are eligible for greater cash prizes. “The Neenah PAPERWORKS Contest is one of the oldest paper contests in North America, and now it is also one of the most lucrative,” said Tom Wright, Director of Strategic Advertising for Neenah Paper. “It is a great way for Neenah Paper to enhance its relationships with graphic designers, and a useful way for designers to enhance their relationships with their customers.” Cash prizes for the Letterhead and Text and Cover “Designers of The Year” will double to $1,000. These winners are selected from the gold winners of the Letterhead and Text and Cover categories. Gold, silver and bronze winners for both the Letterhead and Text and Cover contests throughout the year will also be awarded larger cash prizes. Gold winners will receive $500 (up from $200), silver winners will receive $300 (up from $150), and bronze winners will receive $150 (up from $100). Letterhead winners will also receive two of their samples mounted on plaques for exhibit in their offices as well as presentation to their customers. Text and Cover winners will receive two trophies. The company awards gold, silver and bronze winners within each of three regions: Eastern, Central and Western. Previously, awards were presented in four regions. In the Letterhead category, formerly a monthly contest, winners will now be awarded bi-monthly. The Text and Cover contest will continue to take place quarterly. Newly printed PAPERWORKS Contest entry forms will appear in all new Neenah Paper promotions in 2004.
