Foster City, Calif. – EFI, a world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, today announced Fiery color controllers are now available for the Ricoh Aficio MP series of multifunction products (MFPs). The versatile, color Ricoh MFPs combined with the latest Fiery technology provide higher user productivity and ease-of-use with more consistent color and the security features required for demanding office environments. The Fiery E-3200 and Fiery E-5200 controllers are available for the Ricoh Aficio MP C3001/C3501 and MP C4501/C5501 MFPs respectively.

Increased Productivity and Lower Costs
The Fiery controller's powerful yet simple user interface enables jobs to be set-up faster with fewer clicks. In addition, the Aficio MP MFPs support Fiery VUE, EFI's desktop printing application that makes publishing of professional-looking finished documents fast and simple for all office workers. Fiery VUE, available from EFI as a free download, allows users to interact with a document on-screen in 3D to sculpt and then preview exactly how the finished document will look when printed, thus lowering cost by saving time and reducing waste. With a single click, users can create eye-catching booklets, presentations and other documents in-house, reducing the need for and cost of outsourcing color print jobs.

The standard Fiery ColorWise color management technology makes it easy for office users to achieve accurate, consistent, rich color every time. The Fiery Spot-On option ensures the best match of PANTONE colors and standardized corporate color palettes, ensuring brand identities and other images print correctly.
 
Security
To meet security requirements of enterprise environments, the Fiery Secure Erase feature automatically removes all traces of deleted print files stored on the Fiery hard drive. All Fiery controllers are easily deployed in Windows and Macintosh environments and support industry standard networking protocols.
