WorkflowOne chooses KODAK Unified Workflow Solutions

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY — WorkflowOne is increasing productivity and improving resource allocation by implementing workflow and web-based collaborative client software from KODAK Unified Workflow Solutions, an open infrastructure to manage both conventional and digital print production. The nationwide rollout of KODAK PRINERGY Rules-Based Automation Software, and KODAK INSITE Prepress Portal will help WorkflowOne reduce production costs, gain efficiencies and improve processes through seamless integration and automation of workflow tasks.

“Partnering with Kodak will be transformative for our organization,” said Ernie Miller, Executive Vice President of Global Operations at WorkflowOne. “We will be able to streamline the print prepress operations and set a new standard for print management for our clients across all of the key vertical markets that we serve.”

With KODAK Unified Workflow Solutions, WorkflowOne will minimize manual intervention and errors, and improve turnaround times for its customers. WorkflowOne’s customers will now have the ability to collaborate both within their own internal units and also with WorkflowOne’s prepress operations and perform automated proof approval via the InSite Prepress Portal. The use of Kodak technology gives WorkflowOne complete visibility of orders, from initial file input to final print production, allowing the company to optimize press use and leverage existing systems.

“Kodak’s solutions are completely scaleable, customizable, and able to integrate seamlessly with third-party systems, so our customers are able to more easily streamline production and increase efficiency,” said Garrett Purdon, National Sales Manager, Kodak Business Services and Solutions Group. “This latest investment by WorkflowOne positions it as a leader in its market, and sets them up for future growth.”

Kodak Unified Workflow Solutions offer modular, scaleable capabilities, integrating with third-party’s systems, such as the EFI Monarch Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, which will further maximize efficiencies for WorkflowOne. WorkflowOne employs more than 2,200 people across the United States. Its base of 12,000 clients includes leaders in the healthcare, financial, manufacturing, retail, non-profit and service sectors. These clients include many of the top 25 U.S. bank holding companies, four of the five leading healthcare group purchasing organizations, dozens of national non-profit organizations, and some of North America's largest retailers, as well as leading manufacturers across a wide variety of industries.
