Nekoosa, WI – Today, Nekoosa Coated Products expands their digital compatible portfolio with the addition of Synaps Digital XM by Agfa, an international leader in film manufacturing.
 
Synaps Digital XM is a polyester based synthetic paper engineered for high heat, dry toner digital printing. The polyester based material has incredible tear strength, and can hold up in any environmental condition. Toner fuses with the synthetic paper to make the finished product both durable and naturally resistant to water, chemicals and grease.
 
“Its synthetic properties make Synaps Digital XM a great alternative to costly lamination. After considering the total cost associated with lamination, versus just digitally printing the substrate, you can clearly see that this product provides significant cost savings over lamination,” says President, Paul Charapata.
 
Synaps is available immediately in 5,8, and 10 mil gauges and 8.5x11” and 12x18” sheet sizes through Nekoosa’s distribution partners in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
