Weilburger Graphics gains additional certifications

Gerhardshofen – Already last November the successfully passed audits regarding the certification according to the standards DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2008 and ISO 14001 : 2004 were realized by the DQS GmbH (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen) on the premises of WEILBURGER Graphics.

The aim of the quality management norm DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2008 is to optimize permanently all processes of production in order to safeguard and to increase the quality level. Regarding the environmental standards ISO 14001 :  2004 the focus is put on a continuous optimizing process which respects all aspects of the environment protection. The international norm ISO 14001 is the worldwide most significant guideline which an environmental management in companies and other organizations shall contain and perform.

Günter Korbacher says regarding the certification: “One of our company’s highest aims is the production of our extensive product range on the highest quality level and also with a view to sustainability. Our clients shall trust blindly during their daily application of our products that they fulfill the highest quality standards and that they are environmentally compatible. We get our electricity since 2009 from renewable energies to 100 % and reduce the CO2 emissions from 2009 until 2012 by more than 300.000 tons. The adaption of our in 1997 introduced quality management system regarding the requirements of ISO 9001 : 2008 standard, the certified participation in the Sony Green Partner program in 2009 as well as the new certification according to ISO 14001 are logical consequences of our quality and environmental policy."
