W+D provides solutions for the entire mailing value-added chain

Press release from the issuing company

Neuwied, Germany – For the first time, Winkler+Dünnebier AG (W+D) and its new subsidiary, W+D Direct Marketing Solutions GmbH (W+D DMS), will be exhibiting together at a trade show – at the digi:media in Düsseldorf, Germany.

W+D will unveil and present ConceptD, a digital printing press especially designed to process variable data and minimum print runs, at the digi:media for the very first time. With this new product, the specialists for envelope and pocket machines open up new opportunities in direct mailing with digital printing and offer their customers added value for envelope printing and inserting.

The second W+D exhibit is a two-color offset printing press that sets new standards for the printing of envelopes and pockets. The W+D 232 is one of the most productive and reliable machines of its kind. It is extremely flexible, can be quickly refitted and is easy to operate. "Perhaps most important of all, our W+D 232 is a very worthwhile investment for businesses that process transactional, transpromotional and direct mail orders," said Dr. Achim Wapniewski, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing at W+D.

The new subsidiary, W+D DMS, will present its mailing and fulfillment solutions at the digi:media. "As a result of the acquisition of W+D DMS we can offer our customers complete solutions for the entire value-added chain in the field of mailing – from production to printing and right on up to inserting for envelopes and pockets," explained Wapniewski.

W+D DMS is a leading supplier of mailing and fulfillment solutions for direct marketing and transaction applications. The company develops, produces, sells and services inserting systems.

W+D will be at the digi:media together with its sister companies, E.C.H. Will and Kugler-Womako, at the Körber PaperLink booth – Hall 6, Booth B39 from April 7 to 9, 2011.
