OMET TV 503 tissue press offers faster changeover rates

Press release from the issuing company

The innovative OMET system fills that need with dramatically reduced machine stops from one job to another.

The tissue market demands ever shorter print runs, more frequently.

This requires faster job changes not only in terms of format or substrate but also with subject matter.

Thanks to a new system, which has recently been introduced by Omet, the TV 503 press guarantees very fast job changes for the production of napkins and tablemats.

This technological development consists of a fast assembly of the anilox roll and extraction of the plate sleeves without needing to open the print unit.  This means there is no loss of print pressure, and the printing gears stay aligned.

Thanks to this innovation, changing from one printed subject to another will be achieved in a very short time, and the machine will resume printing and production at the highest speed, optimising its productivity and reducing downtime.
