Harte-Hanks Expands Digital Print Facility In Massachusetts

Press release from the issuing company

EAST BRIDGEWATER, MA -- January 12, 2004 -- Harte-Hanks, Inc. has moved its Boston-area digital print facility and marketing fulfillment center operations to East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The company, which previously occupied three facilities in nearby West Bridgewater and Brockton, has consolidated operations to 177,000 square feet in the former Foxboro Building on North Bedford Street (State Route 18). The operation, consisting of a state-of-the-art digital print facility and large-scale fulfillment operation, employs 200 people and provides sophisticated inventory management, print-on-demand, and complete order fulfillment services for financial, high tech and other industries. "The move enables us to expand our print and fulfillment offerings with new equipment and technology, as well as to provide room to accommodate the double-digit growth we have experienced in digital print during the past two years," said Jim Davis, corporate officer and vice president, Harte-Hanks. "Our fulfillment customers recognize the cost savings that can be achieved by managing their inventory using digital printing methods." "As a result, we have a highly efficient operating environment that is well designed and bright -- just a great work environment. We know our clients will be equally pleased," Davis said. Harte-Hanks also has print facilities in Westville, NJ, Jacksonville, FL, Baltimore, MD, and Shawnee, KS, with the combined capabilities to meet the print needs of most mailers. In Massachusetts, Harte-Hanks also has a data and software facility in Billerica, northwest of Boston.
