Document Sciences and Align360 Partner to Streamline Enterprise Content Workflow

Under the terms of the agreement, Align360 will provide reseller services for Document Sciences' award-winning xPression enterprise content management software, combining xPression's leading real-time, interactive content processing services capabilities with Align360ís significant expertise in deploying mission-critical business software. Our two companies' comprehensive knowledge of the property and casualty insurance and financial services industries, together with Document Sciences' universal content processing services architecture, will help organizations realize the full potential of their business content and improve their customer communications," said Mike Mendelson, Vice President of Align360. xPression's J2EE component-based architecture is designed to integrate with an organization's existing business workflows to create and deliver both real-time and high volume business communications, highly customized for each recipient. Unlike traditional document automation systems, universal content processing (UCP) services such as xPression are architected for tight integration with existing systems, data, and workflows. xPression runs on WebSphere and WebLogic application servers and uses XML as a common language for data interchange. Coupled with Web Services that connect to an organization's existing workflow components, xPression allows disparate systems to communicate with one another, radically increasing efficiency of creation and delivery of regulated documents including policies, contracts, proposals and correspondence.
