Adare Goes Live with Precision Marketing on InfoPrint 5000

Press release from the issuing company

London – InfoPrint Solutions, a Ricoh company, today announced that Adare, a leading international provider of marketing and secure communications solutions, has gone live with a new InfoPrint 5000 inkjet colour environment at its Yorkshire facility.

Adare chose the InfoPrint 5000 GP (General Production) primarily because of the platform’s support for the industry standard Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) architecture and IPDS (Intelligent Print Data Stream) to support variable data printing.  Another important consideration was the InfoPrint 5000 family’s configuration flexibility and upgradeability that can meet Adare’s current and future needs.

Robert Whiteside, CEO of Adare, said: “The InfoPrint 5000 has increased our production efficiency and enabled us to offer true, white space management solutions to our clients.” Whiteside added, “We are experiencing an increased demand for highly personalised, large volume work that can be produced very quickly without compromising on quality. At the same time we must consider our carbon footprint, and we were impressed with the InfoPrint 5000’s low power consumption and the fact that we could significantly reduce wastage and improve stock efficiency through the elimination of pre-printed forms.”

”Adare’s success at winning new clients for its InfoPrint 5000 environment illustrates the speed that UK businesses are acknowledging the power of colour one-to-one communications,” Theresa Lang, InfoPrint UK managing director commented. “The first pioneers to transform transaction documents to one-to-one communications were in the financial services industry; now it is spreading across all industries as it becomes a must-have for successful marketing campaigns.”

Adare has developed solutions that combine operational and marketing applications to create highly personalised communications that enable clients to speak in a timely and relevant manner to their target audiences.  Adare is now using its InfoPrint 5000 for transactional and direct marketing applications for RSPB, HomeServe and Home Retail Group amongst others.

HomeServe is the UK's leading provider of home emergency services and insurance products. Adare’s contract is for HomeServe's business critical marketing communications and includes complex direct mail campaigns across multiple channels.

Adare has also secured the contract for Home Retail Group’s transactional mail business which, like HomeServe, requires high levels of personalisation, white space management and high quality output to support affinity partner branding.

Both Adare clients are focused on enhancing the relevance of their communications as they move to data driven, full colour documentation.

This year, RSPB chose Adare and the InfoPrint 5000 to produce its Supporter Communications. RSPB is using Adare’s expertise to help it move to a communications programme where each document is customised to its million plus individual members.

The InfoPrint 5000 inkjet family offers customers a choice of three platforms that operate at a variety of speeds, with colour, monochrome and MICR capability, all using proven, scalable, highly reliable drop-on-demand inkjet technology.

The InfoPrint 5000 GP (General Production) platform has established industry leadership with a reputation for reliability, print quality, productivity and ease of use. According to analyst firm InfoTrends, since 2007 InfoPrint Solutions and its partner Screen have sold more than half of all continuous-feed colour inkjet systems installed in the United States and Western Europe.
