Color-Logic shines in PIA of Ohio and Northern Kentucky competition

Press release from the issuing company

West Chester, OH - In the 2011 Central Region awards competition staged by the PIA of Ohio and Northern Kentucky, three Ohio printing companies took home awards in five different categories by using the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color Process on superwide inkjet and conventional offset presses.  The printers and the categories in which they excelled are:
- Marketing Services by Vectra, Columbus-Gold Medal for Specialty Packaging
- Marketing Services by Vectra, Columbus-Gold Medal for Small Posters
- Stevenson, The Color Company, Cincinnati-Gold Medal for Campaigns
- Crest Graphics, Cincinnati-Silver Medal for Stationery, Three Colors or More
- Crest Graphics, Cincinnati-Silver Medal for Tags, Labels and Decals

Commenting on his company's success in the competition, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "We are extremely gratified by the results produced by these printers using the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System, and congratulate them for their success.  The Color-Logic process wowed the judges when producing labels, posters, and packaging, as well as conventional products like stationery and sales literature.  And, perhaps more important, the process proved its viability in competition not only using offset, but inkjet as well.  Given that our software and inks were introduced less than one year ago, this level of success is particularly noteworthy.  Printers around the world are eagerly embracing this new way of consistently and reliably printing metallics images and special effects."
