Hunt Valley, MD – The Sheridan Group, Inc. today announced plans to consolidate the printing operations of two of its subsidiary publications businesses into a single facility. The printing operations of United Litho, Inc., located in Ashburn, Virginia will be consolidated into Dartmouth Printing Company in Hanover, New Hampshire. The resulting efficiencies, combined with on-going investments in new technologies across all aspects of its business, will enable The Sheridan Group to continue to provide its customers increasing levels of quality and service. Sales and Customer Service staff will continue to operate in the Dulles/Ashburn Virginia area to support customers. The Company will provide both financial and job placement assistance to displaced United Litho employees during the production transition.
