Manroland sheetfed presses convince Mexican printing companies

Press release from the issuing company

Sooner or later it has to be manroland: the latest sales of sheetfed printing systems in Mexico show this clearly. Five printing companies invested in ROLAND 700 and ROLAND 900 presses, manroland customers as well as printshops that used to work with competitor equipment before.

“It is a great compliment for our work to see customers come back and gain new ones,” says Stefan Deuster, Managing Director of manroland latina in Mexico City. “We are proud to be known for finding a solution for all demands.” Different press configurations, different job structures, one unanimous statement: all companies mention manroland’s quality, reliability, and experience as reasons for their investment. Moreover they are all fond of the enhanced productivity they get thanks to manroland’s automation features.

Five sheetfed sales demonstrate this versatility: Talleres Estrella in Toluca chose a four-color ROLAND 700 LV HiPrint to print covers within its large-scale production of notebooks for commercial and school use. So far the company has been working with a two-color ROLAND 700. Efform, a cardboard printing company in Mexico City, also invested in a five-color ROLAND 700 LV HiPrint to produce packaging for the food industry. There is a six-color ROLAND 700 LV in the pressroom already.

Litografia Gil in Mexico City is specialized in plastic and cold foil printing. Now they opted for a seven-color ROLAND 700 LV/UV with ROLAND InlineFoiler Prindor to print brochures for the car industry but also cardboard and plastic boxes. Litografia Gil features a complete manroland machinery park with among others six ROLAND 700 printing systems. The fourth ROLAND 700 is an eight-color LV/UV version working at the Ediprint cardboard and plastic printing company in Tlalnepantla. It produces cardboard and plastic packaging for the cosmetics industry. Its technological superiority convinced Ediprint being a competitor’s customer to switch to manroland.

Trust in manroland’s large-format experience was the reason for another competitor’s customer to change the brand: the large-format cardboard printer Proceso Gráfico in Monterrey is doing furniture packaging for the American market with a five-color ROLAND 900 LV.
