CHICAGO, Oct. 1 -- Oce, a leading provider of production-class digital printing solutions, announces Version 3.1 of the Oce CPS700 Color Production System. The latest release provides important enhancements, including three replacement toners (magenta, yellow, red) to expand the color gamut and enrich warm tone detail. Another enhancement supports stocks up to 140lb. index. "With Version 3.1, Oce continues to bring customers the best color tools for the challenges they face today," said Carl Joachim, vice president of marketing for Oce Printing Systems USA, Inc. "By continually looking for ways to improve our offerings, we guarantee our customers will have the technology they need for the job at hand." The CPS700 lets users produce exact quantities of materials cost effectively and reduce the waste associated with large runs and obsolete inventory. The reliable Oce CPS700 combines advanced copy press technology with seven direct imaging units to deliver consistent quality from page to page, run to run and device to device. For added versatility and volume, users can cluster two or more units.
