Thursday, January 13, 2011

Press release from the issuing company

Colchester, UK — Weldon Celloplast, Limited, of New Delhi, India, and Prism of Colchester, UK, announced at Labelexpo India this month its partnership to sell Prism WIN and QTMS throughout the Asian sub continent as well as the UAE. Weldon Celloplast Limited is a Delhi NCR based manufacturer of self adhesive label stocks, tamper evident security label solutions, and specialty tapes. Weldon Celloplast was setup in 1982 by the present Managing Director, Harveer Singh Sahni. The company now represents some of the leading and trusted international names in consumables, materials and equipments.

“The market for sophisticated and flexible management information systems is growing in India,” says Pawandeep Sahni, Director of Weldon Celloplast. “Our customers are looking for a fully integrated solution that will handle multiple printing processes including flexo, sheetfed lithography, and digital printing.”

Prism WIN is the management information system, MIS, for converters around the world, handling everything from quoting, job planning and scheduling, to accounts. And Prism QTMS automated shop floor data capture is being used to track and trace material usage throughout the manufacturing process.

“The ability for label manufacturers to track individual label orders back to raw material is becoming increasingly important for quality control,” continues Sahni. “We see a great potential for QTMS in this area.”

Weldon Celloplast introduced WIN and QTMS to the label market at Labelexpo India in New Delhi, 8-11 December, 2010, to a great reception.

“Labelexpo produced enough leads for our company to provide a comfortable base for WIN and QTMS in India,” says Sahni.

“As the Indian converting marketplace continues to expand, our partnership with Weldon Celloplast promises to capitalize on this expansion,” explains Tim Daisy, Global Marketing Manager for Prism. “Weldon Celloplast’s market knowledge and customer relationships combined with Prism’s product capabilities puts our partnership in a great position to successfully serve this market.”

Weldon Celloplast is prepared to demonstrate Prism WIN and QTMS directly in the market and provide front line product support to customers. Additional support will be provided by Prism offices around the world including the UK and Australia.
