First combination iPhone/iPad App from Neenah Paper

Press release from the issuing company

Alpharetta, Ga. - Neenah Paper is pleased to announce the five winners of the "Your Time To Shine" contest, a design contest held during the fall of 2010 featuring ESSE and OXFORD Papers. Entrants submitted clock face designs that were hand-made with actual samples of these papers, and the winning selections were then reconfigured into iPhone and iPad applications. The winning designs are: Island Time, by Kevin Brindley of Matthews, NC; Three Dimensions of Time, by Rima Bueno of Minneapolis, Minn.; Star Clock, by Alex Silva of Rowland Heights, Calif.; Urovni, by Natalie Motoska of Edmonton, Alberta; and ESSE Squared Clock, by Paul Claycomb of Addison, Texas.

Designers requested paper samples from Neenah's timeless color palette within the ESSE Paper collection and/or the cloth-like textured finish of OXFORD Papers. Once the clocks where created, they uploaded photos of their work to the Neenah Paper 'Against the Grain' blog site (www.neenahpaperblog.com), where visitors could then vote for their favorites. The five posted clock face designs with the highest number of votes won the contest.

"Neenah Time" is the first combination iPhone and iPad application offered by Neenah Paper. The free application uses the clock function of the device to display an analog "paper" clock on-screen and lets the user change clock faces at will – a great feature considering the diversity of the design selections. Each clock face has a unique animation feature built into it, and an optional sound effect is associated with each clock face.
