Press release from the issuing company

Lake Success, N.Y. – Start off the New Year exploring Canon's highly anticipated 2011 products at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES). In booth #13396, Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging, will be showcasing recently announced VIXIA HD camcorders, PIXMA Office printers, PowerShot Digital cameras and a new professional series camcorder. Also on display will be Canon EOS DSLR cameras and lenses, imagePROGRAF large format printers and imageCLASS laser multifunction printers.

Canon PIXMA Office Printers

Included at the booth will be the latest Canon PIXMA Office printers including the new PIXMA MX882 Wireless Photo All-In-One (AIO) model. The printer also has Advanced Media Handling capabilities with Auto Duplex copying, printing, incoming black and white fax documents and a two-way paper feed to reduce paper usage. With five-individual ink tanks utilizing the ChromaLife100+ ink system, a maximum color resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi2 and one picoliter in droplet size, the Canon PIXMA MX882 can produce a high-quality 4" x 6" photo in approximately 20 seconds3, a 50-percent reduction in time from its predecessor.

With advanced imaging technologies such as Auto-Gradation Adjustment and Pure Black Technology, the Color imageCLASS MF9220Cdn delivers remarkable tone-on-tone clarity so images stay true to the original. It features a 50-sheet Duplex Auto Document Feeder (DADF), 250-sheet cassette plus 100-sheet multipurpose tray and offers an optional 500-sheet paper cassette pedestal.

Canon imagePROGRAF Large Format Printers

With the demand for large format-size printers increasing, Canon's award-winning lineup of imagePROGRAF models is more than capable of handling almost any job. One such model from Canon is the imagePROGRAF iPF605 which is designed to support the printing needs of technical document users working with Computer-Aided Design (CAD), GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) applications as well as entry-level users in general office environments.
