New York - Packaging Solutions Holdings, Inc. announced today that it named Jon N. Solberg as Vice President for Business Development, effective immediately.  Mr. Solberg will lead Packaging Solutions Holdings' initiatives in the cheese and meat packaging markets. Packaging Solutions Holdings was founded by Wellspring Capital Management and industry veteran Harold Bevis, who together are creating a Top 10 packaging company focused on value-added packaging for the food, medical and consumer markets.

Mr. Solberg has extensive sales and supply chain experience in the packaging industry.  Prior to Packaging Solutions Holdings, Mr. Solberg was Product Applications Manager at PCC Industries.  In addition, he was a highly successful sales leader at Pliant Corporation; International Supply Chain Director at Commercial Packaging; and, Director of Sales and Marketing at American Plastics Company.  Mr. Solberg holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology, Packaging from the University of Wisconsin, Stout.
