World's foremost bank selects DocuLynx's Mercury Solution

Press release from the issuing company

DocuLynx, Inc., a leading provider of document archive and retrieval, electronic distribution and web presentment solutions, today announced World's Foremost Bank, a subsidiary of Cabela's Incorporated and the issuer of Cabela's CLUB Visa credit card, has selected its market-leading Mercury software solutions for its high-volume archiving and retrieval needs. The DocuLynx archive and presentment solutions will make it possible for World's Foremost Bank to move to more cost effective business processes when it comes to managing and adding value to its high volume and transactional output. Using the Mercury solutions, the company plans to benefit from reduced storage costs, quick and efficient access to archived data, and enhanced security features to protect customer sensitive information.

Instrumental in World's Foremost Bank's selection was Mercury's comprehensive digital document capabilities that provide a highly flexible and scalable infrastructure for capturing and indexing the company's large daily files of customer statements and a central repository for managing various documents and images. Replacing several different systems with a central repository has also allowed the company to significantly reduce its storage capacity to one-tenth the amount of data stored previously. Another significant driver in World's Foremost Bank's choice was Mercury's ability to store each document in its true fidelity as a PDF, making it easier for customer service representatives to better serve cardholders. Additionally, World's Foremost Bank is taking advantage of Mercury's role-based security features to provide a higher level of security for customer data.

"From the beginning we have been impressed by the dedication of the DocuLynx team to meeting our unique business requirements, making them an excellent business partner for our needs" said Irene Strong, vice president of operations for World's Foremost Bank. "Having a centralized archiving system delivers many benefits that can improve the customer experience. That is extremely important to us.

"Meeting customer expectations is a central focus for World's Foremost Bank," said Terry Wieczorek, president and CEO of DocuLynx.  "Having the ability to efficiently and effectively manage high volume transactional output delivers the benefit of streamlined business processes which in turn adds substantial value-add to customers. We are pleased our solution has been able to meet the needs of World's Foremost Bank and look forward to a strong relationship in the future."
