Sinapse appoints Büro Henze as German distributor for press simulators

Press release from the issuing company

Sinapse print simulators are now being distributed in Germany by Büro Henze who launched this new endeavour with an open house at the HdM (Stuttgart Media University).

Ralf Henze has 35 years of experience in the German printing industry, and has been associated with Sinapse and the simulators for over 15 years.

The HdM is one of the pre-eminent media schools in the world, and has long been a user of Sinapse simulators.

The two organisations held a joint open house at the Stuttgart Hochschule der Medien (HdM) in late November. During this presentation, the latest versions of the Sheetfed and Heatset simulators were presented, and the attendees were able to use the HdM simulator installations which include versions connected to a manroland PECOM console. Attendees at the open house included schools from Germany and Austria, as well as printers, and representatives from press manufacturers and major industry suppliers.

As Professor Bernd Jürgen Matt of HdM said, "Simulation is an important part of modern training technology. During our decade long association with Sinapse we have been able to contribute to making this even more effective. Our students appreciate the opportunity to use simulators and enrolment in these classes is continuously growing".

Ralf Henze adds: "I worked with Sinapse at the inception of the Sheetfed simulator, and appreciate how far it has been developed, and how useful it is for training printers both in school and in the pressroom. The use of this simulator in the WorldSkills competition is another indication of how industry and education are adopting simulation as a standard for training and evaluation. I am sure that the German print industry will become a leader in this area".

Peter Herman, MD of Sinapse Print Simulators added "Ralf Henze has always been a source of expertise and information for us, and we are extremely pleased to be working with him as our agent for Germany and related territories. A key point for our German-speaking users is that they now have a local resource for all their needs because Ralf is also a Sinapse Certified Trainer."
