GraphExpo '03 - Chicago, Ill  September 28, 2003 -- Xitron, the prepress industry's leading independent developer and integrator of Raster Image Processors, announces the appointment of Bill Owens as Product Manager-Navigator Solutions. Bill will be responsible for all aspects of managing Xitrons Navigator product line including the Navigator RIP along with ancillary software options. The Navigator product line is based on Global Graphics Harlequin RIP technology enhanced with Xitron developed features and support for more than 150 popular output devices including desktop and large format inkjet proofers, film imagesetters and platesetters. Bill's previous experience covers more than 25 years in the graphic arts, digital imaging and photo markets including support, marketing and product management responsibilities with the Varityper Division of AM International and PrePress Solutions, Inc. where he served in various roles including National Manager, Educational Service & Support and later Senior Marketing Manager. Most recently Bill held the position of Worldwide Product Marketing Manager-Digital Imaging and Photo for X-Rite, Incorporated. He will relocate to Ann Arbor from Grand Rapids immediately. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Printing Technology graduating with honors from Arkansas State University. He has completed graduate work at the University of Arkansas and continuing education programs through The American Management Association.
