RSA releases WebCRD 8.1

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY - Rochester Software Associates (RSA), provider of production print workflow software solutions for in-plant printers announces the latest release of its award-winning web-to-print software, WebCRD V8.1.  This release adds capabilities in the application's variable data and personalization workflow and offers improvements in end user and print center digital workflows; increasing efficiencies and improving job turn-around.

In addition to the previously announced integration with XMPie's uStore Connect, the following benefits and enhancements are available with this release:
- Increased user functionality and enhanced customer satisfaction, with features like user image uploading into WebCRD's Dynamics templates for customization and personalization of variable data templates.
- Improved print center reporting and maintenance capabilities to help in-plants increase print center productivity, automate workflows and do more with less.
- Lower production costs and integrate with existing enterprise applications to increase interoperability via updates to our Web Services API, (i.e. inserting orders from other systems or querying WebCRD orders from other applications, such as accounting).

Tim Kelly, senior vice president, RSA, stated, "Recent industry research from InfoTrends indicated strong preference by print centers for workflow software that offers ease of integration and use, and provides a high level of functionality. This release of our latest version of WebCRD web to print solution offers all of these elements to improve customer ordering workflow; add capabilities and services end users want like dynamic publishing and increased personalization, and allows corporate print centers to capture more volume and additional digital print workflow without adding people."

WebCRD 8.1 is available for shipment to new customers this month.
