DuPont announces next wave of Cyrel DigiCorr installations

Press release from the issuing company

Wilmington, Del. – DuPont Packaging Graphics announced the installation of four new DuPont Cyrel DigiCorr flexo platemaking systems; which raises the total number of DigiCorr Tradeshops to 13 in North America. The new Cyrel DigiCorr system is a low cost and highly productive workflow enhancement for digital corrugated platemaking that is gaining in popularity due to its outstanding image reproduction, reduced fluting, and litho-like print quality.

The recent wave of new installations in high profile tradeshops include: United Engraving of Schaumburg, Ill.; VT Graphics of Yeadon, Pa.; Preflex Digital Prepress Services of Lakewood, Wash.; and an additional Southern Graphics Systems location in Marrietta, Ga. The complete list of DigiCorr Tradeshops capable of producing digital Cyrel plates using the DigiCorr workflow can be found at www.cyrel.com/na.

"The corrugated industry has truly embraced Cyrel DigiCorr since its introduction in 2008," stated Bob Hannum, industry segment manager – DuPont Packaging Graphics. "The immediate improvement in corrugated print quality when using digital Cyrel in the DigiCorr workflow allows corrugated box plants to compete for work that previously could only be done by litho label printers. We are pleased by the response and appreciative of the opportunity to advance flexography with the Cyrel DigiCorr Tradeshops."
