Vistaprint named to the Boston Globe Top Places to Work for third consecutive year

Venlo, the Netherlands - Vistaprint N.V., a leading online provider of professional marketing products and services to micro businesses and the home, today announced that Vistaprint USA, Incorporated (“Vistaprint”), located in Lexington, Mass., has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts in the third annual employee-based survey project from The Boston Globe. This year’s rankings featured Vistaprint at No. 11 on the medium-sized companies list. The complete list of this year’s recipients can be found at www.boston.com/topworkplaces.

Vistaprint placed on the list for the third year in a row. The company’s inclusion was based on employee opinions about company leadership, compensation and training, diversity/inclusion, career development, family-friendly flexibility, and values and ethics. Vistaprint has offices across the globe and consistently strives to recruit the best talent in technology, marketing, management, manufacturing and other functions such as finance and legal. The company’s focus on recruiting has been a point of emphasis and has allowed the company to grow to over 2,500 employees worldwide in just 10 years.

The Globe invited 1,160 employers to participate in the third annual Top Places to Work. Of those, 236 organizations went all the way through the process, allowing them to conduct a confidential survey of their workers. Research partner WorkplaceDynamics of Exton, Pa., specialists in employee engagement and retention, contacted more than 133,000 employees at those companies and received completed surveys from 82,000 individuals. To qualify for the Boston Globe’s Top Places to Work, a company must have more than 100 employees in Massachusetts. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.

Vistaprint offers a multitude of products and services micro businesses need to effectively market to and increase a customer base on a limited budget. Products include printed options picture Christmas cards, holiday address labels, business cards, and invitations; promotional apparel like hats and T-shirts; and marketing services such as websites and email marketing.
