Press release from the issuing company

Who is a friend with whom? Where are pirates lurking? What is the sustainability factor? manroland answers these questions in the latest issue of its customer magazine expressis verbis edition 2011. It takes an interesting and informative look at the industry surrounding printing systems and beyond as well.

expressis verbis edition 2011 covers a wide range of topics: it provides information about the print market today and also steals a glance at the future. Here the focus is on a host of innovations in the newspaper and magazine field as well as the advertising market. This issue deals with changes in the packaging market and the unbroken preference for books, and some articles examine the battle of the media.

There are numerous contributions from international industry experts, corroborated with content that students at the Stuttgart Media University researched and compiled during projects. This is all clearly supported by comprehensive statistics. The source directory provides detailed information about the statistics, charts, surveys, and studies contained in this edition.

Production: teamwork between sheetfed and webfed

The cover of expressis verbis edition 2011 was printed and nobly enhanced in the Offenbach Print Technology Center on a six-color ROLAND 700 HiPrint with coating module and ROLAND InlineFoiler Prindor. The inside pages were printed at Druckhaus Kaufmann in Lahr, Germany, on a ROTOMAN commercial web offset press. This webfed and sheetfed offset specialist in the Black Forest region is a family-run business, a longstanding manroland customer, and has 300 employees.
