The groundbreaking performance of the manroland team as well as the recommendations from Hangzhou Daily Group Shengyuan Printing Services Co., Ltd. and from Shanghai Zhonghua Printing Co., Ltd. convinced the representatives at Toppan. The two printing companies are also working with ROTOMAN presses from manroland.

Comparison with other presses turned the balance for ROTOMAN
Moreover Toppan did a performance comparison with two older POLYMAN presses as well as with a four-year old competitor's press. Here the ROTOMAN fulfilled their expectations perfectly. Additionally, last but not least, it was the comprehensive support from manroland headquarters in Germany on price, delivery time, and service backup that let manroland win the contract.

The single-web 16 page printing system consists of one reel splicer, four printing units, and a folder. Production start of the press is scheduled for the beginning of next year. The ROTOMAN can produce 50,000 copies per hour and features high flexibility, e.g. because of its numerous folding possibilities. Among others the press is equipped with the PPL (PowerPlateLoading) system for automated plate change and an integrated dryer with afterburner which enable more productivity and less waste and save energy.
