San Antonio’s Shweiki Media forms partnership with Whitley Printing Company of Austin

Thursday, November 18, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Austin, TX — San Antonio’s Shweiki Media has formed an exclusive partnership with The Whitley Printing Company, one that makes use of the state-of-the-art equipment and resources of Shweiki for the benefit of customers of Whitley, which was recently named Best Austin Printer by the Austin Advertising Federation for the third year in a row.

Under the agreement, Whitley customers will enjoy new opportunities in Web printing on Shweiki’s high-tech, high-speed press — using Whitley’s prepress procedures and its high-def screen process.

“The Whitley Printing Company has a long history of looking for new ways to provide our customers with high-value solutions,” said Kevin Cassis, company president. “Our partnership with Shweiki Media gives clients access to Web printing that is enhanced by Whitley’s prepress expertise, high-definition screening and our closed-loop color process.

“In order to assure quality, we’ve undergone months of rigorous testing and the development of cross-platform standard operating procedures,” Cassis continued. “After more than a year of thoughtful discussion, we have developed a solution that we’re proud to take to market.”

Founder Gal Shweiki responded: “We are very excited about this opportunity to work with Kevin and his exceptional team at Whitley Printing. With our world-class equipment and Whitley’s expertise, we are producing quality on our Mitsubishi Web press that is unparalleled in the printing industry.”
