Salvation Army produces low-cost interactive resources with QuarkXPress

Press release from the issuing company

London – The Schools and Colleges Unit within The Salvation Army provided 140 churches in the United Kingdom and Ireland with their "Ultimate Church Visit" resource package, a kit designed to handout to schools visiting a Salvation Army place of worship. The resources – created in-house with QuarkXPress 8 – include an interactive CD ROM, information and activity cards, teaching outlines, and display material.

"The Ultimate Church Visit resource package looks amazing and everyone is thrilled with the results. We saved a significant amount of money, which is important for a not-for-profit organization and a small department like ours," said Shelley Drake, Schools Resources Development Officer at The Salvation Army.

Peter Schaebbicke, Quark European Channel and Education Program Director, said, "We recognize the constraints that charities face with regard to budgets. Our Non-Profit Program addresses this issue in particular by offering QuarkXPress 8 at a significantly reduced price. Charitable organizations can now purchase QuarkXPress 8 for only £149/€189/$299 (excl. VAT and tax) giving them the same page-layout and design software used by creative professionals at an affordable price."
