Graph Expo will serve as the launching platform for EFI's most powerful color servers to date, the high-speed Fiery® S300/S500 platforms featuring a new version of the award-winning Fiery System Software. Now available for multiple OEM partner engines, the S300 is optimized for production of continuous tone color pages on a variety of mid-range color copiers, while the S500 is ideal for printing complex variable data and imposed pages at top engine-rated speeds. Additionally, the Fiery Q4500 color server, which is available for color production class engines and digital presses, will be on display driving the Xerox DocuColor iGen3(TM) Digital Production Press. With the new Fiery System 5.5 Software, the latest class of servers offers enhanced job processing and color management features for graphics arts professionals. EFI will also showcase its full suite of Velocity(TM) workflow solutions to increase productivity from job submission to prepress to print production. Velocity Exchange(TM), the online workflow application that connects customers with print providers, will be shown with new capabilities for more efficient, automated print job ordering. New automated prepress features of Velocity OneFlow(TM), which addresses DI, CTP, ink-jet and digital printing needs under one workflow, will also be unveiled, as well as a new version of Velocity Balance(TM) software for distributed printing. EFI's latest inkjet proofing solutions with Best technology show a range of precision solutions for commercial printers seeking both perfection and profitability. Version 5.0 of Best Colorproof(TM) and Best Screenproof(TM), and Best Designer Edition(TM) 3.0 will launch at the show.
