Contex Americas launches ecommerce site for consumables, accessories, software, and parts

Press release from the issuing company

Herndon, VA - Contex, the world-leading developer of wide format scanning and imaging solutions, today launches an ecommerce website for the company's consumables, accessories, software, and replacement parts. Contex is expanding its U.S. logistics to support online ordering, which is available to U.S.-based distributors, dealers, and end-users. Visitors to the new site can choose from hundreds of items for Contex's wide format scanners, including calibration sheets, protective document carrier sheets, and scanner covers. Visitors can also purchase scanner operating software, raster editing and conversion software, and much more. Users can search by either part number or scanner model-even out-of-production models. In addition to easy ordering, the site provides fast and efficient processing, delivery, and tracking.

Contex recommends that users take advantage of the new ecommerce site to purchase the supplies needed to maintain and care for their wide format scanners. This includes care kits, which consist of a lamp cartridge, glass plate, white background plate, and micro fiber cloth. Regular preventative maintenance extends the life of Contex scanners, which helps users get the most value out of their investment.

"We are pleased to provide users with a quick and easy way to access the tools they need to get the most value out of their wide format scanners," comments Dan Bennett, Director of Service Operations for Contex Americas. "The new site and expanded U.S. logistics will allow us to better serve our channel partners and their customers."

This ecommerce site is in line with Contex's mission to provide the best possible image reproduction and archiving solutions for technical, graphics, CAD, Geographic Information System (GIS), government agencies, and specialized customers. Contex is regarded as the preferred provider of scanning technologies to the scan-to-file, scan-to-print, and scan-to-net markets.
