Industrial Inkjet exhibits at Label Expo Americas

Press release from the issuing company

Knapwell, United Kingdom - Konica Minolta IJ Technologies, Inc. support partner Industrial Inkjet Ltd (IIJ) demonstrated single-pass inkjet technology at the Label Expo Americas 2010 exhibition recently held in Chicago, IL. The technology presented was interesting for many visitors because of the high resolution and print speed not commonly provided to label printers by inkjet system builders.

The company demonstrated the reliability and ease-of-use of the IIJ ColourPrint 142 HQ, a complete roll-to-roll professional digital colour print system.  The ColourPrint 142 HQ is based on proven technologies including Konica Minolta inkjet printheads. Producing higher print quality at higher production rates, this new model is designed to meet the exacting requirements of the label printing industry. The system includes print engine, software, roll-to-roll media transport system and UV lamp. The ColourPrint 142 HQ ran continuously throughout the show and demonstrated yet again, the exceptional reliability of Industrial Inkjet products.

"The Label Expo exhibition was exciting and successful for us. There was a great deal of interest from system integrators and end use customers. They asked specific questions and indicated they are ready for such a solution" - said Ed Garcia, Technical Manager USA. "We were unique by offering a high quality inkjet print solution with true resolution 720x720 dpi at 177 feet per minute for the label market. Visitors were also very interested in other IIJ print solutions with lower resolution".

In total Label Expo Americas 2010 was a success for Industrial Inkjet Ltd. IIJ, manufacturer of print engines from 36mm print width upwards and with speeds up to 120 meters per minute. More details and print samples are available. Please contact IIJ for more information.
