Continued success for Q.I. Press Controls

Press release from the issuing company

Oosterhout – For many years Q.I. Press Controls has been living up to its position as the market leader in the automated press controls system market and when this is in combination with one of the biggest newspaper exhibitions worldwide, it's almost a guaranteed success. As a result Q.I. Press Controls closed off this years IFRA Expo with over € 1.6 million worth of orders.

At IFRA Casa Editorial el Tiempo from Colombia signed an order for the investment in mRC+ with register marks for colour- and cut-off register control, a real success with a major player in the South American market. Following a recent order with El Colombiano this is the second order with a large printer in Colombia in the last few months. In addition the order from PT Temprint in Jakarta for mRC+ with register marks for colour- and cut-off register control, including ABD fan-out control on the heat-set tower, means Q.I. Press Controls has entered the growing Indonesian market. Further more an existing customer, namely the Gannett Group, reinvested in Q.I. Press Controls' closed loop register control, this time for their Southampton site, an installation that incorporates the mRC+ with marks for colour register control, the ABD fan-out control system in closed loop mode and finally the IQM management information system. Finally a further order was closed at IFRA with Preiswert Rotationsdruck Nord and Prima Anlagen in Germany for both colour register and cut-off control.

Naturally Jaco Bleijenberg, Q.I. Press Controls' International Director of Sales, is very positive regarding this years' IFRA, "The atmosphere is beginning to change in a positive direction. Customers are more open for future investments and we are ready for it!  We especially believe our markless IDS closed loop colour control system, which is up and running on over 60 newspaper towers worldwide, will be of increased interest to the newspaper sector in the time to come. If customers want to print within specifications according to the ISO 12647-3 standard, this IDS system is a fundamental requirement without any discussion!"
