emediagroup enhances services offering with purchase of Carolina Graphic Arts

Press release from the issuing company

Greenville, SC – emediagroup, a Greenville-based provider of commercial printing solutions and services, announced today that it has purchased certain assets of Carolina Graphic Arts (CGA), a local print provider, in an effort to bolster its local, regional and national commercial printing solutions and enhance its customer service offering.  Through this acquisition, emediagroup continues to expand its footprint and its conventional, digital and large format commercial printing offering, providing additional services and support for its valued customers.

This expansion enables emediagroup to strengthen its printing capabilities, including an increase in printing presses, die cutters and other cutting-edge equipment, allowing customers to choose from a broader array of printing solutions.  What's more, customers will have access to an enhanced level of service and support from a larger staff, with the same expertise customers have come to expect from emediagroup.  Less than two years ago, emediagroup opened a wide format facility in Myrtle Beach and recently added screen printing to its menu of services, both testaments to the company's commitment to growth and meeting its customers' printing needs.  emediagroup also remains an industry leader in its event media division, supplying race numbers and collateral pieces to the race industry.

"The mission of emediagroup and CGA is the same: to deliver the highest-quality printing solutions coupled with outstanding customer service," said Bill Bishop, co-owner, emediagroup.  "Because of that shared interest, not to mention the first-rate equipment and staff, this acquisition made perfect sense and will allow us to serve our customers even better than before."

"We are very excited to become a part of the emediagroup family," added Rick Owens, owner, CGA.  "Our customers will continue to receive the highest level of service and support and will realize even more creative printing solutions through this acquisition."

"This purchase follows the strategic vision of emediagroup to provide its customers needed resources and additional capacity for the continued growth and prosperity in their respective industries.

"We are excited about being part of a dynamic marketplace where quality and the highest level of customer satisfaction are the drivers for success. We attempt to constantly align ourselves with the needs of our customer base and take advantage of the changes in their markets to become a more valued partner."

"We are also excited about our plans to relocate into a facility that will double our manufacturing footprint and provide room for continued growth," said Joel Hogg, co-owner, emediagroup.

emediagroup is the only print provider in South Carolina to offer conventional offset, digital, wide format and screen printing under one roof.  All of these solutions are designed with the customers' overall communications strategy in mind, ensuring a cohesive message.
