Jeffrey Stewart of Trekk Cross-Media to present at Converge Conference

Press release from the issuing company

Rockford, IL - Trekk Cross-Media will share a Web-to-Everywhere Approach to cross-media communications at the Converge Conference: The Next Generation of Print and Communication Services. Sponsored by Printing Industries of America, this year's event will be held November 6-9, 2010 in Memphis.

As the graphic communications industry continues its evolution, the ability to develop and deploy content across multiple channels and media becomes more critical. The challenge for service providers is in making the transition from print to cross-media workflows. In his session "Structured Content-The Future of Cross-Media Content Distribution," Jeffrey Stewart, Trekk partner and Chief Technology Officer, will strip away the complexity to reveal that eMedia and print are just additional cross-media channels."

Stewart will present an approach that separates the content from the delivery format, allowing structured content to be easily and cost-effectively distributed across channels and platforms with standard Web programming tools and techniques. Attendees will find out how a universal content scheme supports an array of distribution channels, from mobile devices, tablets, and social media to more traditional distribution methods like web sites, e-mail and print.

The Converge Conference gives executives and managers the opportunity to gain a broader understanding of the technologies changing the industry. They'll learn the skills and strategies necessary to build an effective and flexible business plan and have an opportunity to examine the evolving customer requirements surrounding new cross-media applications.
