Graphco Adds New Dimension with Presstek

Friday, September 26, 2003

Press release from the issuing company

SOLON, OH, September 23 - Presstek, Inc., a leading provider of direct digital imaging technology, announced today that graphco was selected to distribute the Dimension and related CTP products in Ohio and surrounding states. The inclusion of Graphco to the Presstek network will enhance their position as the fastest growing CTP vendor in the 2-up metal category. Additionally, Presstek is increasing placements in the 4-up CTP segment - twice the pace of the overall market. Graphco, a leading total solutions equipment company, has built a reputation for innovation, integrity and technical competence during its thirty year history. In the early nineties, Graphco added CTP solutions to their established distribution of quality printing presses. As the Ryobi/Xpedx distributor for the Ryobi 3404 DI, which employs the Presstek Pro-Fire engine, Graphco is well versed on the benefits of direct imaging technology. Chris Manley, President of Graphco said, “We feel that by adding the Presstek Dimension range and chemistry-free consumables to our product portfolio we can offer added value to our existing and new customers. Having an extensive sales and service team already in place to serve this market, we are confident we can successfully implement our goals and objectives for the Presstek CTP range.” “The design simplicity makes the Dimension range fundamentally reliable as well as keeping maintenance costs extremely low. There is no need for a processing unit; a simple water wash unit is sufficient. We now have the opportunity to offer our customers a very cost effective transition to a powerful CTP production line to match our offset press lines”, added Mr. Manley.
