Scheufelen releases 25th wall calendar for 2011

Press release from the issuing company

For the 25th time in a row the Papierfabrik Scheufelen, Lenningen, is publishing its sought after wall calendar. Under "Peak Performances" admirers of the calendar are being whisked away into the world of records and extremes. Together with Jochen Rädeker, Managing

Director of the Strichpunkt agency in Stuttgart, Scheufelen has
developed an exciting calendar journey to the most varied areas of human endeavour with an unmistakeable and innovative hallmark.

The head of marketing responsible at Scheufelen, Irmgard Glanz, has also ensured that the values of the Scheufelen brand have been im-plemented again in the new calendar. These include independence, creativity, the claim to be a premium brand and differentiation.

While the observer will be faced with the most successful free divers in the world in January, the following months will surprise with astounding examples of bold architecture, revolutionary physics, daring aviation and pioneering space travel. Of course, the automotive sector, with
its economical one litre/100 km vehicle, has to be there. And who hasn't heard of Edmund Hillary, the first man to reach the summit of the highest mountain in the world in his daring climb? Music can also push back boundaries. John Cage wrote music history with his organ work set to last 639 years. Month by month a great range of peak per-formances will unfold in the calendar.

The pages of the calendar have been produced on the coated Scheufelen paper varieties PhoeniXmotion, Job Parilux, heaven 42 and BVS. The different qualities selected intensify the effects of the colours and shapes. The production notes at the end of the calendar explain the specially used print finishing, such as blind and hot foil
embossing, day and night fluorescent colours, iriodin varnish and other partial varnishes. The demanding production of the calendar was moni-tored by Michael Matschuck, Managing Director of Druckpartner in
Essen.

"The examples selected in the new wall calendar have got a lot in common with Scheufelen. With out top quality coated premium papers we offer the ideal basis for peak achievements in design and printing techniques, and the best performance and quality without compro-mise", said Dr. Michael Spallart, CEO of Scheufelen, describing what all these peak performances have in common.

The Scheufelen wall calendar "Peak Performances" is appearing in both German and English in a limited edition of only 4000. A small number of the calendars are available at a price per item of € 100.00.  Individual pages of the calendar will be published in limited quantities at a price of € 15.00 each. Both can be ordered in the Webshop under www.scheufelen.de from the middle of November.
