Print World 2010 online registration opens with early-bird special

Press release from the issuing company

Toronto - Print World, the only show in North America with an exclusive focus on shorter-run printing, has opened its online registration. A special discount of 50% off the admittance price at the door is available to all who register before October 31. Visitors can register at www.printworldshow.com.

"We've opened our online registration earlier this year. And judging by preliminary results so far, the number for our registered visitors are ahead of where we were two years ago for the last Print World," says show manager Sandy Donald. At its last outing in 2008 Print World visitors came from across Canada and several U.S. states, and included a small, but growing, international contingent.

Several enhancements have been made to the Show and Conference this year, including tripling the conference line-up; introducing for the first time in Canada a Chinese Pavilion devoted to Chinese manufacturers making their North American debuts at Print World; and mounting a Case Study Theatre in which a selection of printers will describe how they have embarked on successful new ventures.

Other popular attractions making a comeback include Design City, a show within a show created for design professionals; and the UpLinX Software Theatre, a 900 sq. ft. presentation area in the Print Software Zone, where visitors will take in several free daily demonstrations of leading software. UpLinX, the new PreMedia Group of global merchant PaperlinX, has signed on as lead sponsor of the Print Software Theatre.

Print World takes place on November 20-22, 2010, at the Direct Energy Centre in downtown Toronto. The city, Canada's largest metropolitan area (5 million+), is the heart of the Canadian printing market.

Toronto is a 90-minute drive from the U.S.-Canada border and Toronto Pearson International Airport features direct flights to all major cities. Porter Airlines, one of the official carriers for Print World, operates direct flights between downtown Toronto (five minutes from the Print World venue) and major centres in the Eastern U.S.
