Standard Register Wins $30 Million Contract from Banner Health

DAYTON, Ohio--Sept. 24, 2003-- Standard Register has won a five-year contract to be the sole supplier of document solutions to Banner Health, Phoenix, Ariz. Banner is one of the largest, nonprofit health care systems in the country with hospitals, long-term care centers, family clinics, home care services and other services in eight states. The contract value is estimated at more than $5 million annually. As part of the contract, Standard Register will provide document management and related services including printing, copy center management and e-procurement solutions. Through networked print on demand and copying services, Standard Register will help Banner increase communication efficiency, flexibility and quality while reducing costs and material obsolescence. "Outsourcing to Standard Register frees Banner to spend even more time on our core competency--providing excellent patient care.
