Always improving and expanding: the manroland STORE

Press release from the issuing company

Customized purchase lists, convenient order processing, low prices and guaranteed fast delivery strengthen the appeal of the manroland STORE for a growing number of web offset press customers.

Since early 2010, all newly delivered presses can be recorded in the manroland STORE. After logging in, the customer receives an overview of his or her presses and can easily place relevant articles in their shopping basket by selecting the desired press, unit, or module. The manroland STORE offers customers a true competitive advantage: the increasingly rapid pace of production planning makes advanced wear and spare parts management indispensable.

From the store to the service portal
Continual additions to the product range and improved logistics make it possible to provide a high-performance online platform with high-quality articles at competitive prices and with short-term availability. The platform also includes spare parts that are not listed in the press-specific spare parts catalog, such as repair kits or tools. In the medium term, all relevant parts will be available for rapid delivery in the manroland STORE. Bundled demand on an international scale and automated processing make the price/performance ratio for original spare parts and wear parts from manroland exceptionally attractive.

All information on customer equipment will be stored to provide even better support for the long-term success of printing operations. In addition to spare and wear parts, products from printservices such as technician requests or training can also be ordered. A full overview of individual presses is also provided, including everything from operating instructions to the press history and even press-specific figures and evaluations. The manroland STORE will become the hub for all service products. In addition to convenient and fast ordering, the service portal will make an important contribution to production reliability and provide quick assistance in the case of malfunctions.

Starting off with the manroland STORE for the sheetfed sector
The manroland STORE for sheet offset presses is currently being launched. A pilot phase with selected customers, during which wear parts were offered in customized catalogs individually compiled for specific presses, has been successfully completed. The result: real gains in time and convenience.
