INX accents environment friendly inks at Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, IL –  Covering a wide range of applications, INX International Ink Co. (booth #2512) will offer new environmentally friendly inks at Graph Expo.  Attendees can expect to find an ink type for nearly any application - including energy curable, UV LED and green products - during the October 3-6 show at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The INXCure LED series of ink showcases the company's continued commitment to industry leading innovation.  When demonstrated at IPEX, it showed superior print quality and cure response, even under demanding conditions.  INX Research & Development continues to work with various manufacturers of LED UV light systems in optimizing both the light source and ink as this exciting technology becomes commercial.  Demand for energy curable specialty inks is expected to continue since UV/EB products increase productivity, offer improved physical properties, reduce costs and meet environmental compliance.

Sheetfed process system inks such as EcoTech and EcoPure will add luster to any printer's Sustainability line-up.  The high performance EcoTech inks not only conform to ISO 2846-1 standards but are suitable to GRACoL G7 certification.  They contain 65 to 70 percent renewable resource content and carry a 70 BRC index rating label from NAPIM.

Fusion UV Hybrid process inks fulfill a wide range of printer demands and often are compared to the best conventional litho inks.  They provide exceptional adhesion to multiple substrates, with or without coating, and are made for compatibility with conventional press materials.  These inks are formulated to be VOC-free and qualify for the Soy Seal.

INXCure EB Web FTP (film to paper lamination) process inks are designed for EB (electron beam) web applications.  They are formulated for application on a wide variety of substrates including film, coated board stock, and coated and uncoated paper stocks.  Engineered to work well on film-to-paper and film-to-film laminate constructions, these inks are VOC-free.

INX International's world class Low Migration inks have earned a reputation of being amongst the lowest migration systems on the market, under severe testing conditions.  They have proven to work exceptionally well in the EB market for food packaging.

INXCure UV Web, INXFlex UV Flexo, and specialty inks and coatings will also be on display.
